Meet Jason Brass

Lifelong Halton Hills resident, business leader, and community advocate

A Deep Commitment to Halton Hills

Jason is a lifelong Halton Hills resident whose career has been defined by building strong teams, solving complex problems, and leading organizations with care, discipline, and long-term vision.

Raised in Norval and now living in Glen Williams with his wife of thirty years, Jane, Jason has deep roots in the community and a genuine understanding of what makes it special, from its people and small businesses to its farms and close-knit neighbourhoods. He enjoys being out in the community, walking through local villages, along trails, and rural roads, staying closely connected to the everyday experiences that help guide thoughtful, practical public decisions.

Leadership in Business and Governance

Jason serves as CEO of Terra Cotta Foods Ltd., where he led the company’s growth into a respected international manufacturer serving major retail partners, including Sobeys and Harris Teeter. That growth was built intentionally, through assembling strong teams, implementing clear systems, and fostering a culture where people were empowered to lead, solve problems, and take ownership.

Under his leadership, the company invested in modernization and automation, expanded its retail and private-label partnerships, and remained deeply connected to community life across Halton Hills.

As Terra Cotta matured, Jason deliberately shifted from day-to-day management to governance, succession planning, and long-term resilience. He built a strong senior leadership team with clear authority and measurable expectations, enabling the company to operate successfully without his daily involvement. Jason considers this one of his proudest achievements, reflecting his belief that true leadership is about building organizations that endure.
